New International Partnership for Skolon with the Global Tool Padlet
Edtech company Skolon is entering an international partnership with Padlet, a globally recognised tool that makes daily schoolwork easier and more creative for teachers and students. This partnership means that Padlet will now be accessible via Skolon’s platform for smoother access and use, as well as available for purchase through Skolon’s app store.
Padlet, used by over 40 million users worldwide, is a digital bulletin board for creative work and collaboration in education, but also for professionals.
For the education sector, Padlet offers multiple tools that make it easier for teachers and students to create materials and resources for lessons and activities, share thoughts and knowledge with each other, and use visual tools to drive engagement in the classroom.
Padlet is now becoming available in Skolon’s library of over 5,500 digital tools and educational resources. What makes this collaboration unique is GDPR-compliant use of Padlet via Skolon’s platform, along with a smoother and more secure payment solution for purchasing the tool for Skolon’s customers.
Oliver Lundgren, CEO of Skolon, comments:
“We know that Padlet is a highly valued and eagerly awaited tool for many of our users, and now they’ll be able to access it with just one click directly through Skolon, just like with all their other digital school tools. We are truly looking forward to collaborating with Padlet and together enabling simpler digital learning for even more teachers and students.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Skolon to bring Padlet to their platform of digital tools,” says Bryan Chong, Head of Sales at Padlet. “By combining our interactive, user-friendly application with their seamless login and procurement, we’re poised to bring Padlet’s GDPR-compliant solution to many more schools. Now that schools can access Padlet through Skolon, teachers can focus on what matters most: creating, sharing, and learning together”.
The integration work has begun and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. This means that Skolon users will be able to find, test, purchase, and use Padlet directly via the Skolon platform, in the simplest way possible. For Padlet, this means the opportunity to reach more and new customers via Skolon’s platform and app store, in all the markets where Skolon operates.
