Skolon signs first customer agreement in Germany and begins expansion into a new market

Skolon today announces that it has signed an agreement with the German school organisation Schulbits, which represents 35 schools in the Landkreis Günzburg region of Bavaria. The collaboration also marks the beginning of Skolon’s expansion into the German market.
With this new agreement with Schulbits, the edtech company Skolon is taking its first steps into yet another European market – Germany.
Skolon CEO Oliver Lundgren explains:
“Germany is a market we’ve had our eyes on for some time, and one where we see great potential for growth. We’ve worked actively to prepare for entry into the German market and have adapted our platform to suit local conditions. We’re also engaged in a wide range of conversations with both customers and partners, all of whom have shown strong interest in our solution and the value our platform offers. With our first local users now in place and strong momentum in our existing markets, the timing feels just right to begin establishing ourselves in Germany.”
The collaboration with Schulbits means that the Skolon platform will initially be rolled out to a smaller group of schools, with the aim of a full-scale launch across all 35 schools in August 2025.
Although the agreement does not include guaranteed volumes, it is considered strategically important as Skolon’s first customer collaboration in Germany. As part of the expansion, Skolon also plans to open a local office in Germany.
