Creaza – simplified license management with Skolon
Creaza has partnered with Skolon to simplify the way they sell to customers and to reach a wider audience!
We spoke to Ted Karlstrand, Country Manager at Creaza in Sweden, about his partnership with Skolon. Creaza’s goal is to enable digital storytelling in schools to enhance student’s creativity and literacy. Creaza’s products include; digital stories, animations, mind maps, videos, storyboards, presentations, podcasts, and video editing. Ted shared his thoughts on the Skolon collaboration and how it has increased their visibility across key markets and improved the adoption of their product.
Simplifying procurement and onboarding of new customers
At Skolon we enable customers to purchase licences directly through the Skolon App Store. We integrate into the school’s existing edtech ecosystem and ensure the right number of licences are purchased. Due to this we make it quick and easy for our customers to get going with their digital tools, as there is no need for lengthy integrations with each new product they licence.
Ted explains, “At Creaza, the integration with Skolon has simplified our work, the right number of licences are allocated at class, school, and municipality level, within seconds from the point of purchase, with no intervention from our team. This is also true from a technical perspective, Skolon has already integrated into the school’s systems so usernames and passwords are a thing of the past – students and teachers alike can get started with Creaza in seconds, reducing barriers to learning!”
Furthermore, Skolon is an authorised reseller and approved across all major framework agreements in Scandinavia, enabling Creaza to reach new customers without needing to undertake lengthy tendering processes. This helps to drive scalability and growth, getting Creaza positioned across a wider audience.
Visibility through Skolon’s marketing
Skolon works proactively with partners to get their product featured through the right channels. “In addition to the marketing that’s been done through the Skolon App Store, the Skolon team has been on-hand to do product spotlights which have been instrumental in getting us more visibility across the markets we operate in.”
In Creaza’s case, they have been featured at ‘Skolon EdTalk’ an organised place where educators meet to share best-practice and knowledge around the use of digital technology. Creaza has also held webinars, in partnership with Skolon, sharing tips on how to best implement digital strategies in the classroom. Creaza has also been featured at Skolon’s stand at the annual SETT fair in Stockholm.
“Working with Skolon’s team has been enlightening, they truly see the need for variety and representation of digital tools in the classroom. Not every teacher or every student has the same requirements. By enabling an environment where multiple tools can be accessed simply, they are revolutionising the digital teaching and learning experience. From a partner perspective, they know that the best way to enable this, is to work hand in hand with their integrated tools to reach the right schools, teachers and students. I’ve welcomed their proactive approach to our partnership and we have seen an increase in usage of our tool as a result of this.”
Easy trials of our tool
Through the Skolon App Store, digital tools can be available to pilot and test within minutes. Customers can find Creaza by applying a range of education-specific filters to ensure they get the right tool for their curriculum.
Skolon permits partners to provide access to tools on a free of charge basis, or as a limited trial. Teachers and administrators can trial tools as individuals, with their classroom, or these can be pushed out across a school or across many schools.
“We have seen an increase in leads due to the piloting function, and in turn sales. We can get in touch with prospective customers who are piloting our tools, but equally we see sales take place as our tool is the right one for the job – we let the edtech shine! Our data dashboards provide full visibility on usage which we truly value!”
Skolon works hand in hand with partners to create a mutually beneficial partnership. We do this by accelerating your implementation, whether trial or new customer onboarding, we simplify the purchasing of your tool for schools and we provide full visibility of where and when your tool is being used.
Our ultimate goal is to reduce the barriers to digital learning and our integrated approach to working with partners has enabled us to truly permit teaching and learning to take place in a meaningful and engaging way.
This is Skolon – we gather the best digital educational tools and make them work in the classroom.
Skolon is an independent platform for digital educational tools and learning resources, created for both teachers and students. With Skolon, accessing and using your digital educational tools is easy – security increases, administration decreases, and there’s more time for learning.
The digital educational tools come from both small and large providers, all of whom have one thing in common – they create digital educational tools that are beneficial for the school environment.
