Chatterdillo joins Skolon as a new partner!

As spring weaves its way in and nature is in bloom, it brings us great pleasure to share that Skolon is blooming digitally, too!
We are thrilled to announce that Chatterdillo has officially joined the Skolon platform, bringing vital speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) support directly to your digital classroom.
It’s no secret that the demand for specialised support in schools has never been higher. Currently, 1 in 5 children struggle with SLCN, representing a 26% increase in just two years. This has made it the most common primary special educational need in the UK.
Empowering schools amidst rising pressures

Chatterdillo’s CEO Jamie Walsh and co-founder Amy Warner-Allen.
With recent SEND reforms dominating the headlines in the sector, schools and SENCOs are facing immense pressure to fill gaps in support. However, low funding often means schools lack the budget for dedicated intervention staff or access to speech and language therapists.
Chatterdillo was born from these very challenges. Co-founder Amy witnessed these struggles firsthand. First, as a Teaching Assistant and later as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist working alongside burnt-out SENCOs.
How Chatterdillo works
Chatterdillo has been designed to be a simple, effective solution that delivers high-quality support without requiring clinical expertise or hours of staff training.By integrating with Skolon, schools will easily be able to access:
Giving time back to teachers
On the partnership, Chatterdillo’s CEO Jamie Walsh said:
“Skolon is one of the fastest-growing digital learning platforms in Europe and we’re excited to be partnering with such an innovative team. By working with Skolon, we can bring Chatterdillo into a proven ecosystem that already helps thousands of schools, making it even easier for teachers to address speech and language needs for the pupils that need them most.”
Echoing Jamie’s sentiments, Tom Webb, who looks after UK Groups & Partnerships (an ex SENCo himself) for Skolon said:
“I am really pleased to welcome Chatterdillo to the Skolon platform. There is a critical need for tools that support SENCOs and teaching staff without adding to their workload, in addition to helping them meet the support requirements listed in section F of EHCP’s.
“Chatterdillo’s 10-minute screener and automated dashboard provide a simple, effective way to evidence provision and deliver faster support to pupils.
“By integrating Chatterdillo into our ecosystem, we are giving schools the opportunity to purchase a tool that bridges the gap in speech and language support and goes a small way to creating inclusive schools where students’ needs are met.”
