Skolon AB (publ) has been named one of Sweden’s 25 best workplaces in IT 2024 – a prestigious award from Great Place To Work®, which celebrates companies with an outstanding workplace culture.

The ranking, which was announced on November 7th 2024, is a tribute to a company’s outstanding workplace culture and its ability to create an environment where employees thrive and grow. The list includes 25 IT companies, of which Skolon is one of them. Skolon’s CEO Oliver Lundgren welcomes the award:

– Our most important resource is our employees. Therefore, we invest in giving our employees the best possible conditions to do a good job, both on an individual level and as a team and the entire organisation. For us as an employer, it is really worth prioritising development, health and well-being in the workplace. That this is also being noticed feels like a nice receipt for all of us at Skolon.

Great Place To Work® has been named Sweden’s Best Workplaces for over two decades. 2024 marks the launch of the first industry-specific list, where the IT industry is in focus. Only organisations with at least 20 employees active in the IT sector have qualified for the ranking.

To be named one of the IT industry’s best places to work, organisations must meet five fundamental dimensions according to the Great Place To Work methodology: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. This is evaluated through an annual employee survey, which is conducted and analyzed by Great Place To Work®.

– For us, it is important to be a modern workplace and an attractive employer, where we, together with everyone in the team, actively work with our culture. During a calendar year, we arrange a series of events, activities and initiatives for and with the team, where we, among other things, further our education in various areas, collaborate outside team boundaries and take time to focus on health and sustainable employees – something that is highly appreciated by our employees, concludes Oliver Lundgren.
