Inspiration

With all your digital resources in one place, Skolon is the easiest way to work digitally at school. All the school’s digital resources can be found in a personal view for each teacher and student, via one login. Click on an icon in your personal collection to launch your tool immediately! We had a chat with Marcus Alvarsson, Business Director at Skolon about how to make easy purchases through Skolon’s library. – Buying digital educational materials and tools directly through Skolon’s library works just like a regular, modern webshop, says Marcus.

Skolon’s purchasing function was launched in 2019 and became a further extension of Skolon’s library, which currently houses over 4500 international digital educational tools and resources from over 150 different edtech providers. In the library, teachers and students can discover and test new and interesting tools, while purchasing administrators can make purchases with just a few clicks directly within the same interface.

-Buying digital educational materials and tools directly through Skolon’s library works just like a regular, modern webshop, which most people are familiar with today. You purchase the tool you desire and have the option to choose, at the time of purchase, which user, class/group, or school should have access to the tool. Most importantly, you can also choose when the tool will be available to the users – either immediately or on a selected date. This allows your school to make well-planned purchases, such as staying ahead at the beginning of a term or when a new student starts, explains Marcus.
